Cultivating a Sustainable Life is a 4-week, virtual, co-ed circle in which we will explore the principles of permaculture and how we can apply those principles to our personal, intimate lives and practices. Permaculture is ecological design, patterned off of the wisdom of nature and and grounded in a commitment to ethical stewardship of the Earth and each other. It proposes alternative solutions to man-made, top-down, inorganic systems that seek to exploit and control the ecosystem, instead positioning humans as a keystone species in a web of life over which we have outsized influence - and a responsibility to protect.

“Trust the process.”
This is something everyone with a vision has had to say to themselves at some point on the road to getting there. For many, that trust is easier said than won. Without the right environment to thrive, even the best ideas might wither on the vine.
As a facilitator and creative coach, I bring together three of my passions: sustainability, personal growth, and design, to collaborate with you on the supportive structures that will bring your ideas to life. What does sustainability have to do with creating? Well, look around: what is nature doing all the time? I look to nature’s example to inspire how I go about planning, designing, and coaching. Let’s dig into the soil of your ideas. Let’s look at what natural resources are available to you. Let’s look consider how you use and conserve energy in a way that supports your goals and your personal well being at the same time.
Environmentalism isn’t just about the outdoors, it’s about what surrounds, nourishes, and energizes you — what sustains you. By applying the principles and methods of ecological design to how we create, trusting the process comes naturally.

Planting an edible landscape
As a certified Permaculture Designer, I can help you customize a landscape design for your property and growing climate, determine a project schedule and budget, guide you on plant selection and procurement, and choose pollinator companions to support a fruitful harvest.
Leading an educational workshop
I can help you with lesson and activity planning, marketing and advertising strategies, crafting an agenda or handout materials, scripting and filming lessons, and developing educational series. I also love to co-facilitate “hybrid” workshops that bring together one of my specialties with one of yours.
Writing a book, a poem or a play
Creative writing was my entryway into communications and teaching. I have coached writers of fiction, poetry, memoir, journals, meditations, music, and other narratives, from initial ideas all the way to final edits and publication. Tell me your story.
Starting a social media channel
Online content has been the backbone of my professional career since 2008. I can help you design your brand, write scripts, create a posting schedule, and apply digital marketing best practices to your content.
